Modern application of the Islamic style of invitation, Mujadala Hasanah

Abstract

This study explores the Islamic method of invitation (Da'wah) with a specific focus on the concept of Mujaadalah bil-Husna (arguing in the best manner). It examines how this Qur'anic principle, which emphasizes respectful, wise, and constructive dialogue, can be applied in the contemporary world. In an age of increasing ideological conflict and digital communication, the application of Mujaadalah Hasanah offers a powerful model for peaceful discourse, interfaith dialogue, and conflict resolution. The research highlights its relevance in social media discussions, educational settings, and public debates, demonstrating that the Islamic approach encourages mutual respect, intellectual integrity, and ethical persuasion rather than confrontation or coercion.
