Abstract

The Al-Mudawwana Al-Jamia is a comprehensive Hadith collection, that includes both printed and unprinted Hadith works. To standardize referencing, each Hadith is assigned a unique global number (Al-Raqm Al-'Alami), for easy reference, similar to Quranic verse numbering. Unlike the Quran verses, where verse numbers are consistent, Hadith numbering in existing collections —such as the Sihah Sitta are inconsistent and lack a uniform system, causing variations across books and editions. This standardization initiative aims to resolve that inconsistency, ensuring uniform identification, easier access and retrieval.
