سند ومتن حدیث کا ارتقاءونشونما خلفائے راشدین کے دور میں ایک تحقیقی جائزہ

Abstract

In the study of Hadith, the terms “سند” and “متن” refer to two important aspects of the Hadith text. The “sanad” refers to the chain of transmission of the Hadith. It is the list of narrators who transmitted the Hadith from the original source .The quality and authenticity of the sanad is a critical factor in determining the reliability of a Hadith. The “متن” refers to the text of the Hadith itself. It includes the actual words spoken by the Prophet Muhammadﷺ   as well as any additional commentary or context provided by the narrators. The متن be analyzed for its linguistic structure, grammar, and style, as well as for its content and meaning. Scholars examine the متن of a Hadith in conjunction with its سند in order to determine its authenticity and reliability. The origin of Hadith traced back to the beginning of the prophetic period. In the Holy Quran the Almighty Allah says that O believers, if a wicked person gives you news or information, you should examine it carefully, so that you do not harm anyone in ignorance and then regret what you did.  The Prophet Muhammadﷺ   orders the Companions to investigate the news. The Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ strictly forbade to spread false news. This article investigates and listed the origin of Sanad سند Hadith and Matan متن Hadith. This article include the origin ,definition  and brief history about Sanad and Matan of Hadith which was starting from the Prophetic period, the Khalifah Rashidun  ,Tabieen and Thaba Tabieen periods.
