Abstract

Khwaja Muhammad Sadiq al-Naqshbandi was a one of the famous friends of Allah. He belonged to Gulhar Sharif, Kotli, district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He spent life of a pious man. His fame has not only spread in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan but also in Arabia and non-Arab lands. To preach Allah’s message he, not only physically spent his whole life, but also wrote books and letters to the person in the country and abroad. He addressed the people in his letters asking them to have a strong connection with Allah and His Prophet PBUH. His letters are simple but filled with the fear of Allah. He did not use metaphorical or difficult language to impress the people of his locality. His actual intention was to convert the people from wrong doings towards the righteous way connecting them with Allah Almighty. Professor Akbar Dad collected all his letters and compiled them in a book. This is a great addition in the literature of Sufism in AJK.
