Abstract

The Holy Qur'an is the last and blessed book of Allah, the Most High, whose protection has been taken by Allah. Allah Ta'ala revealed the Holy Quran in Arabic language and has ordered us to meditate on it, to think carefully and to know its orders, which is impossible without knowing the language of the people of Arabia. The Companions of the Prophet and the Companions also reasoned with the Arabic language, especially Arabic poetry. In the interpretation and explanation of the Qur'anic verses, the trend of Istishahad with Arabic poetry existed among the Companions and Tabieen. Ibn al-Anbari says that it is proved by the Companions, may God bless them and grant them peace, that the use of Arabic language and Arabic poetry on the meanings of the poor and difficult words of the Holy Qur'an is proven. Therefore, it is important to use the Arabic language.
