Abstract

The first period of Tafseer ended with the departure of the Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) from the world. After that, the period of the Tabi'een began, who established the tilmiz in front of the Sahabah. And in order to find out the hidden meaning of the Book of Allah, they were referred to. In the same way, some scholars from Ta Bain were famous for interpretation and used to explain the hidden meaning of the Qur'an to their contemporaries. These exegetes used to refer to the Book of Allah to understand the Book of Allah and then refer to what the Companions had narrated from the Prophet ﷺ, and then the Jawaharlal took the traditions from the Book and then Allah blessed the young man with vision and ijtihad.

Allah Ta'ala blessed the Muslims with victory in many areas during the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), thus the scope of the Islamic State expanded during the Caliphate after him. So all the gentlemen did not settle in one country, but spread in different cities, among them there were governors and judges. They took with them the knowledge that they had acquired from the Prophet ﷺ. So, many followers used to sit near them and take knowledge from them and copy it to the people who came later, so madrasahs were established in different cities.
