Abstract

The life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stands as an unparalleled example of moral excellence and guidance for humanity. However, the vast corpus of literature documenting his life often presents scholars with challenges and discrepancies. This article undertakes a comprehensive examination of the defensive expeditions led by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), aiming to confront and resolve these inconsistencies. Through meticulous analysis, the study scrutinizes various aspects of the Prophet's life, including contentious issues such as the ages of Sayyida Ayesha and Sayyida Khadijah at the time of marriage, the concept of divine revelation (Fitrat Wahi), the miraculous journey of Isra and Mi'raj, and the unfolding events during the defensive expeditions (Ghazwat). By delving into these intricate historical narratives, this research seeks to disentangle the complexities that have contributed to scholarly divergence and confusion.

Employing an investigative approach, the study not only identifies discrepancies but also offers nuanced interpretations and potential solutions drawn from a wide array of historical sources and scholarly works. By addressing these challenges head-on, this research endeavors to provide clarity and coherence to the understanding of the Prophet's life and teachings. Through its scholarly rigor and meticulous examination, this study enriches the discourse surrounding the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), contributing to a deeper appreciation of his legacy and relevance in contemporary times.
