دور جدید کے تقاضوں کےمطابق لباس کے متعلق اسلامی احکامات اور معاصر تجدد پسندانہ رجحانات کا تقابلی جائزہ
Abstract
Clothing and adornment are two essential things. Clothing to cover the embarrassing parts, protection from the effects of the weather, and adornment to look attractive and unique in others, all is the need of a human society. Islam is a complete code of life. So Islam gives us complete guidance in dress and adornment. Sharaih has allowed us for adornment and beautification under some limits. But in this regard, changes have been taking place with the passage of time and circumstances. Due to which the Muslim world has been in need of guidance in every age so that along with modernity, the injunctions of Islam can also be kept in view. Islam has forbidden to imitate a gender or a nation. Islam also forbids men from wearing silk clothes and gold. But our youth consider wearing silk clothes and gold as a source of pride while both these things have been declared halal for women. Similarly, some things of adornment are haraam for a woman. Islam does not restrict our instincts and legitimate desires, but commands men and women to adorn themselves within the bounds of morality. In Muslim societies halal and haraam in cosmetics products are being used indiscriminately. Western civilization has so much influence on our young generation that we are proud to follow them in all aspects of life and do not even care about Islamic teachings. In these circumstances, the most important requirement of the time is to introduce Islamic teachings and to convince Muslims that the only source of their salvation is in Islam. In this article the narrative method has been adopted.
