A Specialized Examination of Prophetic Blasphemy Laws: Kitab al-Shifa in Focus

Abstract

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is the leader of the sons of Adam and the best human being in this universe. The Qur'an testifies His position, rank and glory. Since the beginning and until today, the love and devotion towards the Blessed Prophet (ﷺ) have been embedded in the existence of the entire Muslim Ummah, just like the blood that circulates in the human body. For the protection of the honor of the Prophet (ﷺ), the devotees owe to sacrifice their lives and consider it a blessing.  West provokes the sentiments of Muslims with clever tactics through their hostility and hatred towards Islam and Muslims.  The pages of history are filled with false stories against the Prophet (ﷺ) in terms of “Namos- e Risalat” defamation, slander and malicious deceit, but scholars of Islam and Muslims have responded to these objections with arguments and logic instead of being emotional and fiery. The arguments are given to those who abuse the Holy Prophet) (ﷺ) without logic and reason. The religion of Islam is based on truth, and has no lack of solid arguments, a perfect example of this is: کتاب الشفاء بتعریف حقوق المصطفیٰ"" compiled by Qazi Ayaz in which all instructions are described about “Toheen –e Risalat”, so it is necessary to use the above book to prepare such a plan of action, by which Muslims can made it clear to the enemies of Islam that they cannot defame or insult our Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
